Esala Perahara
One of the grand holidays celebrated in Asia is called Esala Perahera, and it is often regarded as the biggest Buddhist festival in the entire world. Esala Perahera is a festival that takes place in Kandy, Sri Lanka, between the months of July and August. The purpose of this celebration is to honour, revere, and respect the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha. Esala Perahera is a ten-day festival where drummers and dancers are encouraged to participate in parades.
